IPS Empress®2

The second generation of the revolutionary system in esthetic dentistry, IPS Empress2, now offers the possibility to fabricate all-ceramic bridges. The new lithium disilicate framework ceramic and the fluorapatite layering ceramic permit the fabrication of all-ceramic bridges that demonstrate properties similar to those of natural teeth.

Empress2 harmoniously fits into the Ivoclar-Vivadent range of products in coordinated shades. The dentin shade of the prepared tooth is determined by means of the IPS die material shade guide. This shade subsequently serves as the ideal basis for the final restoration.

Indications: Maximum aesthetics. Stronger than all-porcelain restorations. Shades matched to CHROMASCOP shade guide for combination cases.
Contraindications: Dark underlying tooth structure.
Cementation: Light or dual-cure composite bonding.
